Empowered Consulting was founded in 2002 at the onset of Texas deregulation. Starting from scratch Empowered quickly became know for its ability to deliver below market rates due great relationships with the Retail Providers. The Retailers respected Empowered's dedication to delivering top savings to the end user and as a result always delivered their best pricing to Empowered. With several new markets opening up Empowered has taken the steps necessary to bring its relationships and business practices to a wider audience.
Scott Fawcett founded Empowered with one thought in mind - save people money and they will always use your services. Some fly by night firms place way too much commission in their deliverable prices. Scott has always had the desire to keep a customer for a decade as a result of great service and pricing. It is much easier to keep a happy client for years than it is to find new clients when you have a bad reputation.

With this in mind Empowered has managed to secure electricity contracts for shopping malls, over 200 restaurants, 50+ office buildings, governmental housing authorities, industrial manufacturing, and of course residential users. Nobody is too big or too small. We love the big guys (obviously) but our favorite job is helping the little guy get big guy representation.

The flagship service of any energy consultant is procurement. The main difference being the attention to follow up and ongoing contract management. Empowered has built a battle tested data management system that is essential to long term solutions. Once a client has entered an energy agreement via Empowered their data goes into a system that automatically updates daily looking at all possible options for ongoing contract management.
On a monthly basis your bills are audited to ensure accuracy for billable rate, sales tax implications, and transmission charges. If an error is found the retail provider is notified and a claim is pursued. In addition Empowered can handle any audits in arrears that need to be performed as indicated by the initial consultation.
All clients needs are different and require personal attention. Rather than tell you what you need we listen to what you want and deliver custom solutions. We have set up many custom systems to handle specific issues in order to offer solutions that work, for you.

With a fixed price you can sit back and have confidence in what your monthly bills will look like.Often times in a newly deregulated market this is a great way to get your feet wet with a competitive provider. Then as your education and needs grow alternative strategies can be more accurately assessed.

Often times the client "buys down" the first year of a heat rate contract to deliver upfront savings and then fixes their gas price for the duration of the contract later.
